Alison Pill

Pill initially appeared in Canadian television shows, but it was a long time before breaking into its way into the American market. One such appearance included an episode of the Canadian show Traders that starred Bruce Gray. Pill got a role in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation with Wallace Langham, Liz Vassey, Michael Ensign, Michael G. Hagerty, Naren Shankar, with "Would If, Maybe, But Shoulda". Directly after her work in Picard, Pill appeared in a major supporting role in the critically acclaimed sci-fi mini-series Devs (served by the digital VFX company Double Negative) produced by FX Productions for Hulu, and like she had in Picard the actress appeared in every episode of that series while playing a very similar part in the role of scientists "Katie". There were many similarities with Picard do not stop there because the primary theme the show was also identified to be the preservation of a conscious created by an artificial entity, as similar to the ones Data could be preserved in, as divulged earlier that year in the Picard season one conclusion "Et the In Arcadia Ego, Part 2".
