Bonnie Schneider works as a journalist for CNN. Additionally, she serves as the producer on camera and co-executive for a DIY NETWORK TV show called"LAST HOUSE RUNNING" which debuted on in March of 2012. Bonnie's first book is EXTREME WEATHER which came out from Palgrave Macmillan on January 31, 2012. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. While in Boston she also offered the entertainment and lifestyle reports as the special assignment reporter three days a week. Her prior position was weekend meteorologist for WFOR-TV, Miami. She's held various meteorology, reporting and TV positions. They include News 12 Long Island - a 24 hour cable news TV network, along with WXII TV - which is an NBC affiliate in Winston-Salem. She also worked for the CBS network located in New York City as a regular fill-in meteorologist for The Saturday Early Show.
